A fabulous vintage 18ct yellow Gold Opal & Diamond cocktail ring, comprising of a beautiful 3.5ct (11mm X 8mm) Oval Cabochon Cut Opal with great luster and Harlequin colours. Surrounded by 12 X .03ct Brilliant Cut Diamonds and 6 tapered Baguette Cut Diamonds each weighing approx .05 each. Total Diamond weight approx .66ct ,all channel set in a raised, pierced open back gallery. Ring gallery measures approx 1.8cm (0.6") tall X 1.6cm (0.5") wide, ring size= M 1/2. Can be resized. Hallmarked for 18ct. Circa 1990.
