A fabulous Victorian 15ct yellow Gold & Diamond Etruscan Revival memorial brooch, comprising of a beautiful .10ct Old Mine Cut Diamond center stone an eight-point star setting within a beautiful Etruscan style surround. Exquisite bead work finials and Millegrain bordering. The reverse reveals a glass compartment with a locket of plaited hair, which can be removed. Pin and c-clasp findings. Brooch measures approx 4.5cm (1.7 " ) wide X 2.5cm (1 " ) tall. Unmarked but tested as 15ct. Circa 1880.
