    A rare prototype stainless steel Dunhill GMT Timezone limited edition lighter. Cylindrical body with rotating barrel to calculate the timezone in 24 different cities around the world. The lighter is limited edition with only 1884 made to commemorate the 1884 conference at which Greenwich was accepted as the prime meridian and hence Greenwich Mean Time was established.
    A rare prototype stainless steel Dunhill GMT Timezone limited edition lighter. Cylindrical body with rotating barrel to calculate the timezone in 24 different cities around the world. The lighter is limited edition with only 1884 made to commemorate the 1884 conference at which Greenwich was accepted as the prime meridian and hence Greenwich Mean Time was established. The lighter is numbered 0000/1884 which indicates that the lighter was made as a prototype prior to the official rollout of the model. Lovely Sapphire cabochon inset at the flame adjust wheel. Butane gas refill. Included is also a letter of authenticity from the official Alfred Dunhill Museum Archive. Lighter measures approx 20mm in diameter X 65mm tall. Complete with Dunhill case and outer box with booklet. In excellent condition and in full working order.
