Antique French 18ct Gold Opal & Ruby Brooch - A fabulous Edwardian French 18ct yellow Gold oval brooch, comprising of beautiful large raised Opal (44mm X 24mm) center with good harlequin colours. Surrounding by 35 beautiful round cut Ruby (4mm) stones, claw set in an 18ct yellow Gold open back gallery. Lovely fretwork border detail around the entire piece. Hinged pin and rollback catch, complete with 18ct yellow Gold safety pin and chain. Brooch measures approx 5.3cm wide X 3.3cm tall. Stamped with the French Eagles head for 18ct Gold.
