Antique Boxed 9ct Gold Opal & Diamond Fringe Necklace

A rare and beautiful Victorian 9ct yellow Gold Opal & Diamond fringe necklace, comprising of a central row of 13 beautiful graduated round Opal (6.5mm-4.5mm) cabochons with gorgeous firey Harlequin colours. Rim set in flower shaped open back galleries, each with a beautiful .03ct old Cut Diamond set atop. Beautifully suspended from a lovely 9ct yellow Gold 43cm (16.3 " ) oval link chain with spring ring safety clasp. Stamped 9CT. Complete with original fitted red suede and brown Moroccan leather box. Circa 1890.
