Antique Boxed 15ct Garnet & Amethyst Fringe Necklace

A simply superb Victorian 15ct yellow Gold fringe necklace, comprising of a central pear shaped Garnet (13m X 7mm) cabochon drop encased in a beutifully crafted pierced floral scrollwork suround with applied wirework. Set above is an oval cut Garnet (14mm X 9mm) cabochon, flanked on either sde by an oval cut Amethyst (6mm X 5mm) cabochon with an oval Amethyst (8mm X 6mm) cabochon drop beneath. Finished off with an oval cut Amethyst (6mm X 4mm) cabochon on either side.Suspended from a 15ct 43cm (16.3 " ) curb link chin with barrel clasp. Unmarked tested as 15ct Gold. Complete with original fitted brown suede box from W.J.Lewis Abbott. Art Jeweller & Gem importer. Circa 1890.
