Antique 18ct Gold & Jet Mourning Ring

A delightful Georgian 18ct yellow Gold mourning ring comprising of a central glass compartment (7mm X 4mm) containing a lock of plaited hair surrounded by 14 Round Cut Jet (2.3mm) stones. A further 3 Round Cut Jet stones in each shoulder all set in a closed back gallery with Millegrain detail. Lovely floral work shoulders leading to an engraved 18ct yellow Gold shank. Ring size= M. Can easily be resized. Inscribed on the reverse 'A Kenrich - Born 23 Oct 1760 - Died 28th Oct 1835'. Hallmarked for 18ct - London - 1831 - W E (William Esterbrook) makers mark.
