Antique 15ct Gold & Amethyst Festoon Bar Brooch

A beautiful and rare Victorian 15ct yellow Gold festoon bar brooch, with the bar comprising of 3 lovely claw set, Round Cut Amethysts (4mm) interspaced by two lovely trefoil motifs inset with seed pearls. Lovely figaro link festoon chain connectors with a beautiful center drop comprising of a lovely rim set Pear Cut Amethyst (7.3mm-5.6mm) with trefoil motif set atop. Pin stem and c-clasp findings on the reverse. Brooch measures approx 4.4cm wide X 2cm tall. Unmarked - Tested as 15ct. Circa 1880.
